BACKGROUND
Embolization is one of the few areas in endovascular therapy that draws together all practitioners, regardless of their individual subspeciality practices. Obviously, for the interventional oncologist, embolization is the sine qua non. However, embolization spans peripheral vascular disease, trauma, visceral artery and venous interventions, pediatric and neurointerventional therapies, women's health, aortic disease, vascular malformations, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver disease, non-vascular procedures, cell-based therapies, etc. No part of the discipline is untouched.
The GEST meeting or Global Embolization Symposium and Technologies, is the first and only meeting that focuses upon bringing you a global, in-depth technical, hands-on, and evidence based review of the entire field and an insight into the research that will shape your practice.
MISSION STATEMENT
The GEST aim is to bring you the highest level of scientific and technical education about the use of new materials and devices, their results, relevance for patient care, imaging, and, of course, to fine tune your existing skills and expertise in these areas.
