Total Percutaneous Treatment of Isolated Common Iliac Artery Aneurysm
The patient was a 70-year-old man who complained of intermediate flank pain on the left side for a 1-year period. It was his first visit to a doctor because of flank pain. He was in good shape without other health problems. Colonoscopy and ultrasound of abdomen were performed initially at an outside hospital and were normal. A urologist was consulted, and it was decided to perform CT scanning without contrast due to suspicion for renal calculus. An isolated left common iliac aneurysm 4 cm was incidentally discovered. There was no renal calculus or diverticulitis etc. There were no airs or ascites in the abdomen/pelvis.
