An 85-year-old female was referred from the nephrologist for rest pain and ulcers of the right forefoot occurring after a podologist’s treatment that had not healed for 6 weeks.
Her risk factor background contained arterial hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and chronic renal insufficiency.
