EVAR of Splenic Artery Aneurysm with Single Outflow
This procedure was performed at The International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) 2009.
The patient is a 68-year-old man with an incidentally discovered 5.5 cm splenic artery aneurysm. He presented 1 week ago after 1 day of abdominal pain. Physical examination found a markedly distended bladder and a palpable left upper quadrant mass. An abdominal CT scan shows a fusiform splenic artery aneurysm and a replaced hepatic artery. The plan is to perform splenic artery repair of the aneurysm. What is the best endovascular option for this procedure?
